Are there dogs in the Bible?
Dogs are mentioned 14 times in the Bible as well as being mentioned in almost all other religious texts. The very first dog chapel was built in 2001 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, by Stephan Huneck. He was a children’s book author who recuperated from a serious illness with help from his five dogs. The ancient religion Zoroastrianism includes in its religious text, a section titled the Zend Avestaa that describes the care and breeding of dogs.
